Good morning Friends!
It is Monday morning, March 22nd, and I am waiting for my flight out of the Jacksonville International Airport in Florida. What a great and varied week it has been. On my travels, I had the opportunity to spend time with several of the most successful & professional martial arts school owners in the country. I was fortunate to have enjoyed sharing knowledge and ideas, while promoting traditional Sin-Moo Hapkido from Jacksonville, west to Clearwater, and as far south as Ft. Lauderdale/Miami. With all of the snow up north in New Jersey this winter, this was the perfect time of the year to get away.
The reason for this memo is to remind the extended Sin-Moo Hapkido / Hapkido family that the original & annual "Hapkido Summit" will be held in Atco, New Jersey on April 23rd-25th, 2010. As before, Hapkido-Founder / 'DoJuNim' Ji, Han Jae will be the featured instructor and will offer many hours of hands-on instruction. This event is open to all Hapkido stylists. All ages and ranks are welcomed.
For more information and to reserve your spot on the mat, please contact event co-host, Chief-Master Scott Yates (8th Dan, WSMHFed. Secretary General) at (856) 719-1411.
Members of DoJuNim's 'World Sin Moo Hapkido Federation' will enjoy an event discount. Memberships are available now......Be a part of the tradition! Please see our full-page ad in TaeKwon-Do Times magazine and/or log onto www.WorldSinMooHapkidoFederation.com to join today!
As an added reminder, DoJuNim's own "Handing Down the Techniques" event in South Korea will be held this June 25th-30th, 2010. As DoJuNim has instructed me, he is requiring all masters and grandmasters to attend!
While this is true, all instructors, Blackbelts, and students are also encouraged to participate in this, once again, historic event!
I look forward to seeing you soon. Keep up the good work!
Respectfully yours,
Grandmaster Kenneth P. MacKenzie
